In comparison to our Class 1 general course, the Class 1 advanced course offers everything the general course offers plus load securement, chaining and un-chaining of drive wheels, operating on industry roads with the proper use of a road radio along with industry road etiquette, and oilfield map reading (LSD system) . Please note; we recommend the advanced course for students wishing to enter local oilfield employment. This course is more applicable to the specialized requirements of the oil industry. Course duration is 9 eight hour days with refresher and road testing on the 10th day. Class 1 advanced course cost; $7600 (plus ICBC test cost and HST) |
